Did you clamp another pipe in its' place? What did you do with the sensors?

I haven't fiddled with the DPF yet, so I don't know what's involved when removing it. I believe someone posted that it simply bolts on/off? Is it really that easy? TIA.

pretty much just unplug all sensors and unbolt you would ether have to fab a pipe where the dpf went or just replace the whole exaust

Next question.....I crawled under my truck and located the sensors. There's one in front of the DPF and there's one in the back.

What are the two stainless lines that are connected to the DPF (one in the front of the DPF and the other in the back)?

I really wish someone would come up with a DPF test pipe.....

What do you do with the sensors and codes once you disconnect them?
Have they came out with a tuner yet to erase the SES once you do this?

Sensors are unplugged from the connectors and kept in case they have to be added back to the exhaust somewhere in the future.

As far as codes...EFI Live & HP Tuners delete the codes. I've heard PPE is coming out with something soon that will also delete codes.

theres no hnaging wires the metal tubes are presure sensors they go to a module mounted on the fram rail just unbolt it and you dont have to unbolt any thing from the dpf just unplug the sensors from the two plugs on the frame and remove every thing there shoulden be any thing that hangs down the two plugs on the frame rail just leave there
