ok...anyone have any experience with this on their truck? i just installed one for a buddy of mine and it only seems to smoke more...i didnt get a chance to hookup the pyro ...is the attitude monitor sensitive to the pyro being hooked up?

i mean..i adjusted the levels 1-5 at a stop and each time smoke increased but there definitely wasnt much of a "seat of the pants" feeling like my truck, my truck tries to put you back in the seat when barely touchin the pedal.

any ideas guys?

Hmm. I heard a few people tell me that it takes the Allison a little while to "learn" to cope with the added power. Wish I could help more but I'm not to familiar with the LLY. Someone will chime in though. Nick

Now that sounds strange? Are all the pins where the Juice connects into tight?

yes...i checked them myself...also...he said he can start the truck up...hammer on it once...then it goes back to not revving over 2000 rpms and it kinda seems to want to miss some as it idles down.

Is it possible that he limped the tranny? Does it feel like it's stuck in 3rd gear ?

It's going into limp mode 2000 rpm is the max in limp. the code has to be cleared, yes the code it is probably a p1093 low fuel pressure during fuel enrichment, however it will not turn the ses light on. Mine does this everytime I hammer it in setting 4 or 5.
and i have a tech II so i can see it and clear it.

definitely in limp mode...we drove a few hundred miles yesterday and couldnt use it...we are going to unhook the attitude and try to use just the box and use the gear selector and bypass the other mumbo jumbo...may be a bad box

Yeah..limp mode for sure. Call Edge and get them to send you a new unit. Also get all the updated software into the computer from the dealer.

I was talking to the shop today to confirm if this is an ongoing problem with the edge and turbo bark and he said he has had a few lly's come in with the problem. GM said it is the edge and the edge said it is the injectors. Any input on this. Now with this problem, I think I may just go with the predator. Any pros and cons is appreciated as I am having it installed the end of the week. So many options so little time.

I had the edge and had nothing but problems, turbo bark, messed up shifting...I sold it, bought a predator and could not be any happier...I have an 05 D-Max...Just figured i would give you my 2 cents..Good luck
