whenever i park my truck after driving for a little bit ill come back to see a huge puddle on the ground on the passenger side. Is this just ac condensate?

yes, that is ac condensation. unless it smells like diesel fuel.

Yes, and these trucks seem to pour it out. There is actually a small rubber drain line on the firewall that it comes from.

It's the a/c. Pours out. Nothing to be concerned with.

If you have your HVAC system on auto it is pretty much always running the AC and just cranking the heat to compensate.

AC always on = puddle, always

Jack, your sig does not say where you are, but if the humidity is high, like the Southeast, you will see lots of water condensing off the AC drain. Free distilled water if you collect it.

I might double check though becasue it may be a leaky fuel filter. Double check that its tight but most likely it will be.

Everyone always thinks my truck is leaking because of the lake underneath my truck!!!!

my truck has been doing the same thing. Seems to have started during heat wave this summer after i had been running the ac non-stop. Chunks of ice were actually shooting out of the center dash vents and ac seemed to be underperforming. Ever since this condensate has been pouring out of my truck ac unit. I figured i might be low on refrigerant due to a leak???

Mine does the same. Had ice in the vents on the way to Bristol. The ac seems to decline in performance the longer I drive it. I have checked the drain and all seems well but it does not drain like it should in transit.
I know some vehicles need to have the drain opened up to drain correctly but mine seems fine. I also checked the hose on the firewall as some of these are not angled correctly and will not drian due to wind pushing the condensation back into the drain pan. I am going to try a new drain tube and see what happens.

sounds like your evaporator core is freezing. Make sure your drains are clear, if they are then the low side AC pressure is getting too low{AC is getting too cold}, might have a faulty low pressure switch on the accumulator/filter
