I have a 95 ''f'' engine and I only drive it once a month ''maybe'' and the last couple months it just lost all power and when I accelerate it blows more black smoke then my duramax, I changed Ip 9,000 miles ago so I changed air,fuel filters and draind the fuel tank last week. so Im lost if you can help it would be great.

check your vaccuum. i had the same problem a few weeks ago with my 95. i changed the solenoid on the valve cover, no luck there. so i figured i'd check the vaccum with a gauge before i wasted anymore moneys. a hundred and change later, my truck ran well.

I have a similar problem, low vacuum to the wastegate actuator. The FAQ section has some good tips on checking the vacuum system.

A bad turbo would make noise or have play in the compresor wheel.

i had a simila issue on my 95 Suburban and it too was the wastegate solenoid.
