i have an 02 2500. i am running a predator on it at 65hp. i want to go higher on it but i dont want to ruin the tranny. i been reading that the transgo jr is good but i want more power than it could take. i was wondering how many people rebuilt their tranny themselves for the power, and if they did how hard, how much money, and can you buy rebuild kits to DIY. thanks

you can rebuild it yourself ,but these are real heavy so be careful

ok cool. i have access to a lift and tranny jacks and stuff. where would i get a kit for it. what kind of kit should i be looking for and what all should it include. and price range thanks

i just installed a transgo full kit sunday and it was pretty tricky.

theres alot of venders here that will help you out i know that mike l inglewood tramissions,and eric at merchant automotive ,cust service is great no problems here.good luck

It would be best to go with Mike or Eric. The instructions on the full transgo arent' the greatest and you can get help from these guys if you need it. Great customer service. Good Luck
