How difficult are the door panels to take off. The guy I bought my truck from was mad at his wife one night and hit the handle. I was going to try and fix it but just wanted to know if there were any tricks before I started.

im pretty sure there is two screws holding the door panel in place. one behind the manual door lock thing :p: and one under the handle

Let me see if I can remember...theres two in the handle/armrest, one under the switch board, you have to pop off the trim ring around the handle, theres one behind the lock knob. I cant remember, but it seems there are two on the bottom. Theres a round clip you can see up at the front edge of the panel, pop that out. Then go around the perimeter of the door panel and pop out all the clips by gently prying up. Then lift straight up and it should come off. Oh, dont forget to unhook the light, just give it a yank and itll come out. If it doesnt come off easy, you may have missed a screw, so double a triple check. Also, you may have to pop off the black trim piece behind the rearview mirror so itll lift up. Its been awhile since Ive done one, but thats pretty close (I may have added some screws that arent there and forgot some that are...)

Theres one more behind the round dome toward the rear of the door. Takes a T-20 torx bit.

Thanks, I got it off. Now I just gotta fix it. If I ever find who tried to fix it before I'll prolly shoot em. They ad smeared epoxy all over the back side (heads) of the screws. Took me 20 minutes just to get scrape the epoxy off the screw under the switches. Well, back to it.
