It's on the opposite side of the headlight from the Up/Down adjustment. It is also hidden a bit deeper down than the other. Look for the hole next to the hood bumper just behind the headlight and next to the fender.

I am unable to locate it....Is there a picture that i can see where the adjustment knob is?Here ya go! It was raining out this morning, so the pics aren't what they should be! You also don't need the special tool to adjust them. Just get a small 12 pt socket on a nut driver and adjust away. A 6 pt will work also. I can't remember the size of the socket off the top of my head.

Good Luck!!! And just in case you need to adjust the height, the hole just outside the hood bumper on both sides. Use the same socket for this one!

2003 and 2004 Chevy trucks, I was told by my dealer, do not have left to right adjustment. Can anyone confirm this. Seems to be cheap and, I would think, not too legal. My lights cross each other about 40ft in front of the truck. That forced me to run them lower than level so as not to be flashed after light upgrade. Thanx Geo 2004 CCLB 2500HD Chevy

Think your dealer is blowing smoke. Also recommend you have a properly equiped garage adjust them to assure you aren't blinding everyone on he road.

If we were still building the 04's, I'd check it out for ya. I'll go look anyway to see if we are building them that way on the 05's.

Up and down adjustments on 03,04 chevy (GMC is different), is on top (between the two beams). It is a torx screw. It looks like you need to use wooden shims (like hanging at door or window frame). Pretty cheap eh! My dealer (the same one that tore my engine apart to install an injection pump to cure the surge that is still there), has a wall with a line on it, to align headlights (same line for all height vehicles) (scarey eh!). Geo.

I'm not old enough to use age as an excuse...anyway. I could have sworn that when I drop the assemble a couple of months ago, that I had to adjust the horizontal alignment, but now that I look at it I'm not sure. With that pin I don't see how shims would make a difference.
