I can't get my blocker plate all the way in, any tips?

grind down the bottom/leading edge so that it is more sharp than square; try and pry the bottom gap open a little as you wiggle the plate in. A gentle tap or two on the top of the plate will often get it in the rest of the way if you sharpen the bottom edge. good luck

Allright, got it. 2 1/2 hours for something I thought would take 15 minutes. Pretty frustrating, it better seal! I hope I didn't beat up the gasket too bad.

Mine didnt take that long but it was a real bugger. I finally tapered all the edges with a file and that helped.. I was probably in there for an hour though,, and what a bugger to get at. Oh well its done. That fingerstick was pretty tricky to install as well.

It is tough to get that thing in there but it will make a world of difference for you. Glad you got it installed.

Nope, you shouldnt hurt anything at all. Just the peace of mind that you dont have any codes. Do you have a tuner that will get rid of these codes like EFI live?

well i got the finger stick. but i really dont want to cut my wires all up. i have the old version of the standard ppe tuner but am goin to upgrade to the new one soon that has the egr delete built into it. just didnt want to harm anything in the meantime.

Fingerstick wasn't that bad. The cover was kind of a pain to get off, I cracked it.
