i have a2002 gmc 3500 4x4 automatic that feels like it is surging when i try to drive at a steady speed so i thought it might be warped rooters but that was not the case the truck has 94k miles on it any help thank you chad

Surging is usually associated with the FPR, fuel pressure regulator, or possibly a bad CP3 pump. Search for those two and see if any of the threads sound like your problem.

I don't know what it feels like from personal experience, but it sure sounds like the FPR. Post some more specific information on what happens, when it happens, etc, and maybe some one will chime in.

the rpm will go at least 50 up and down
