Winter's coming and I need to fix my 4WD. Here's the problem

2002 LB7 4x4 Crew Cab
Fabtech lift with 317 BFG MT's
Juice w/ Attitude

The truck engages 4wd (both hi and lo) fine. There is a slight grinding noise coming from the drivers side wheel well during straight line driving, and during a turn it completely binds up. I'm not talking about a U-turn, just a 45 degree into the driveway. I straighten the wheels and it is still bound up. Reverse works perfect and will release the bind. In 2wd the truck has a slight vibe at anything over 65-70.

I can work my way around a garage, but have absolutely no experience with IFS. I really am looking for advise or troubleshooting tips. I'm really close to taking it to a shop, and would hate to lose all of that money because I didn't look at some easy things. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you're doing 4wd on a dry road, you will bind up the drivetrain UNLESS you have AutoTrac. If you leave it in 4wd too long on dry pavement, you'll start to destroy some important parts.
