Any thoughts on Skyjacker Hydro 7000 lifted shocks?

Nothing really that special about them. Ride soft and seem to be pretty reliable for a pretty good price.

I had them on a lifted half ton, they rode alrite but wore out Fast and squeeked for some reason. Not real impressive.

I was going to post the same thing. I have them on a 1/2 ton of mine. About a year and they are starting to rust. I actually considered clearcoating them, but was too exited to put them on. If I were you, I would. Nice for the price though.

Skyjacker has changed their powder coating because of the rust issue. Their lifts are now a "high quality" black powder coat. As far as the shocks go I don't know if they changed the surface on those. Hopefully they did because I just put some on my truck.

After driving with them can you tell a difference between stock? Have you used any others and how do they compare (that question is for all)?
