I am raising the front 1.5" with keys and I want the bring the back up an inch so when I tow its a little more level.

If you slip in an extra leaf spring, you can have the best of both worlds. The truck should ride better, have better travel, handle better and hold more weight.

Shouldn't need new U bolts. Theres an extra 1 1/4" of thread on the stock ones.
Just a side note, I installed 2" blocks on mine and the ride is the same. I did have to get longer U bolts though. Mac

You should not need longer U-bolts. However if you want the best of both worlds, install airbags. The ride will be alot better and you can raise and lower the rear end as you need. Seems like money better spent to me...

mac1234, what size U bolts ?, fabtech has 3 1/4" x 12 1/2" 9/16 round, are these the correct ones. - Thanks
