You are referring to the EGR blocker plate that PPE makes. With EFI Live, you can leave the EGR in, but program it to where it only functions approximately 25% of the time as compared to stock programming (at least that's what I've been told). fire0021 09-26-2007, 10:02 PM what do you meen by affect the computer ? EGR blocker plate is a good mod just a apane to do from what ive herd LMMOWNER 09-26-2007, 10:27 PM its a bitch to do, but its a must if you have seen one without it done after 20000 miles or so, a bunch of people make the plate now so, and yes with efi you can either shut off the egr or have it open a fraction of what it should, SHUT IT OFF ALL THE WAY, there is no use for it besides it sitting there acting like it does something use full for the world. bkdft 09-27-2007, 06:54 AM well i said effect the computer...what i meant was throw any codes up or make the check engine light come on. i want better mpg of course but i do alot of hauling and dont want any headaches.. fire0021 09-27-2007, 07:14 PM no it wont throw any codes if u use efi mpg will go way up | ||
