Just cruising back thru town from lunch today on my way back to work at about 40-45 mph. Stopped at a light and when I took off again…LIMP…nothing over 2K rpm. No CEL. Is there any fast/easy way to reset without disconnect/reconnect?
Thanks in advance. I’m really starting to think about an LMM.

Bet its a 1093. Kill it and count to 20 it will be gone.

Refresh my memory? Can't find my list.
I was just snooping around the site and had an epiphany..K&N, MAF, OIL???
I just realized my K&N isn't in my signature.

Got it 1093 Fuel Rail Pressure Low During Power Enrichment
Ideas on cause? prevention?

mine wont go away without resetting the codes. Try to change the fuel filter first ($25 cheap fix). If that doesn't do it you'll need to shim the FPRV or install a race valve. Some say a lift pump and a new factory FPRV will do the trick.
Second thought, Have you had the injector harness fixed yet?
Go to autozone and get the codes.

Yep. It was in for all of the harness issues last month. Repleaced FICM, #3, #2 and #7. Filter has about 1K miles on it.
The injectors have been a little more noisy since the FICM. Hmmm???

I have seen several of these do that when the regulator, cp3, or injectors are bad...

Typically fuel filter, most do the PRV shim mod, I installed a lift pump, problem went away. Do a search and you'll find your answers.

Well said. I did not even think about the couple trucks that had bad fuel filters....

Well, I went out afetr work and it was fine..well almost...it went back into limp halfway home. I usually drive with the edge on level 3. I bumped it down to 2 and so far, so good. Still haven't pulled the code but I'll do that and change the filter this weekend. Is this a product of the edge calling for more fuel? How difficult is the shim?
Could this in any way be related to cooler temps outside? It's still above freezing in the mornings.

Before you get to worried about it, I would pull the code, chances are you have the P1093 code, low fuel rail pressure. First things to try, new filter, new fuel (Fill up where the big boys fillup), additives (Stanadyne, howes). The shim mod or lift pump should only be done (IMO) as a last resort when you continually have the P1093 code, this occured for me when in stock, 1-3 times a week, hence why I did the upgrade.
Yes, cold weather causes the P1093 more often, but usually do to the diesel fuel being thicker/denser in the winter.
