I have a 05 3500 ordered, wife wanted true 6 passenger seating- now I don't have the 6 disc:mad: , anyone know the right part# for a non bose 6-disc w/ the xm satalite feature? Don't understand GM's lack of a 6-disc on anything other than a A95 Truck or the lack of a passanger side power seat option on anything but a A95 LT, Both my 01 and 02 LS'S have power seats on both sides, looks like a "custom" seat is the other project. The same deal with the 6-disc, A95 only, our 03 Trail blazer EXT has it and it is great for the kids when traveling. I don't like the thought of spending more money on non Power):h upgrades to get what I really want. O well off my soapbox for now.

The package comes with the center console - there is a second output for the rear passangers connected to it, like a mini entertainment system. Yours cannot have a center console (because your 3rd seat in front) - therefore no 6 disc changer etc. I had a similar problem (not exactly). I wanted the package but w/o the leather seating surfaces - no chance! GM saves money producing everything in modules, others do the same.

Blizzardplowman, if I'm reading correctly you want a 6 disk in-dash changer correct?

This is my personal experience; my wife bought an 04' silverado, (traded her 02 FCensoredD Mustang! best day of my life ):h !!!) anyway it had a 6 disk changer, her new truck had single cd/tape (haven't owned a tape in 12 years! I can only ask why??) she wanted changer again so I got one from ebay, Part #15184935 came from a 03 sierra. took it to the dealer, $32 later to activate it, she has a changer! Now, she has XM, Onstar, redundant radio controls + the speakers in the door say Bose right on them. The guy I got it from said he didn't have any of that stuff in his truck. It works just fine!

It seems that XM has its own connector. because she had 2 plugs on the back where mine (03 HD base with another 6 disk courtesy of ebay) only has 1 but does have a place for another, XM soon to come!

I don't think you can go wrong if you get a changer, just don't get a changer that has any yellow letters on the knobs or buttons, those came from earlier models and wont work in your truck. But I would still get a part # and ask the dealer if it will work.
