It just a rebadged/repackaged Dialbo unit.

That's what I heard, too. . . Why buy someone else's product and then change the label and sell it as your own. . . How cheesy.

Um, not to start a ruckus, but wasn't that what Quad was doing?

They are all doing the same thing, reboxing, rebadging. They redid some of the program in the new G module and it is suppose to run smoother, whatever they meant by that. Just get the TTS or Edge and be done with it...

I'm with GMC2500HD on that. Not that there isn't alot of good products out there, because there is. However if something isn't broke don't fix it. And if you do fix it don't fix it with a repackaged product. When you can get the original product. John

I haven't seen the unit but if they offer any guarantees it won't be worth the paper it's written on:mad:

I had bought an MAF for our F-body and it actually lost hp on the dyno. I ended up with a $350 cup holder -:t

Increase your power with Granatelli Motorsport's Big G Diesel Performance Module. This direct plug-in module monitors RPM, timing, turbo boost pressure, transmission function and fuel parameters to determine the optimum adjustments that need to be made to the fuel and timing curves.

how is this the same as the predator, is the predator not a programmer?

The Big G is a relabeled Edge. He didn't mean it was a programmer just that it is repackaged from Granatelli. The predator is not relabeled by them, just repackaged into one of their boxes because they are Diablo Sports distributor. They are now relabeling Edge and calling them Big-G. My point being one can just get an Edge if you wanted one of these boxes. John

Anybody tried this yet? From the looks of this picture, this is not a repackaged Edge or repackaged anything. Check out the connectors? Curious how it does it's thing.

Thanks for clearing that up. I emailed Granetelli and he said the same thing. It's a Dodge unit.

That picture is listed for a Duramax and would almost make you think you are getting something new or different.

I want to move up tire size in the future (nothing radical) just looking to fill out the wheel well a little bit probably go up 2 sizes. Is the edge capable of programing for tire size, and what's a safe program limit before any tranny mods are necessary.

Much Thanks to the forum...

Doing a little more research.... came to the conclusion I don't know who makes it but I would trust john@dps saying it's an Edge. After speaking with him.... he knows of what he speaks.
