Second trip to dealer to try and get the reflash, I took a hard copy to the dealer this time, to hopefully get the reflash and cure the juice knock. Dealer calls back says to come and get truck they have to order parts, says They got multiple EGR codes and need to order a new EGR before they go further! Well, No Censored ! I had the EGR disconnected for seveal thousand miles, what does that have to do with the reflash I told you to do? Didn't tell them I had the thing disconnected! So I play along and go pick up my truck until part comes in. What a bunch of idiots, instead of doing what I asked (cost very little) they go and order a part I don't need (cost more). And still no reflash. Also, told them the idler pulley they replaced last time did nothing to fix the belt noise--they could not duplicate the noise!

LOL - same thing happened to me... took it in for some small problems i thought were related to the injectors, they did the reflash, was worse than before, took it back and then they tell me i have 2 injectors out and a bad egr ( no shit, i didnt have the cat on !! and had codes set ), they didnt even notice and replaced the egr set up and the injectors. all fine now

I have come to the conclusion I am not taking my truck in for this reflash... one dealer told me I was imaging it and they had no clue of a reflash..the next dealer won't do GMC trucks out of spite, and the third lied to me....SO ... I am not changing a thing. I have a little surge, a little knock....no biggy I can live with it.
