Is there a way to check thru vin# on how vehicles ar eqiupped when they leave the factory.

Such as the options list.

Check the glove box door; there should be listing of RPOs showing the equipment or options that were install at the factory. I think a listing of RPOs was discuss in the forum, so do a topic search. Some of the RPOs may be seen in the options section of the Chevy website or if available, the Helms Factory manual will have the RPO conversions too.

Purchased this veh. 2 weeks ago, it was a new 2004.5 GMC 2500HD D/A. I always get the option list.

This one was removed with the intention of giving it to me but was misplaced.

I would like to know how it was equipped when it left the factory.
