I'll try my humble post here......Please help me oh great GM Techs:

New to the board.....Fairly long time lurker.....I love this place.

I can't find the link that explains flushing anywhere. The ones that I have clicked on say "Page not available" What the hey??

Couple of questions (okay 5 or so):

1) If I pull the trans cooler "RETURN" line back to the tranny (where it plugs into housing) and use it to flush, am I on the right track.

2) Why couldn't I just pull both the lines from the housing and let gravity take over:D to drain the cooler?

3) Do I put the trans in drive to flush or will it pump in any selected gear.

4) Am an Amsoil dealer so I'll be using their version of TRANSYND. Would appreciate any input from anyone that's tried this product. It's fairly new but I'm a little biased so I went with it vs the Allison/Castrol original Transynd.

5) Have a short pan. What's the initial fill to begin the flush process? Add the 7.5 quarts?????
