Try the following GM web site:

http://calid.gm.com/vci/VINEntryPre.do

Enter your VIN number in the box provided and click on the SUBMIT button.

Scroll to the bottom of the Controller list box and select PCM/VCM, select NORMAL as the programming type, then click on the NEXT button. Continue to click on the NEXT buttons as the various screens are displayed.

The numbers in your note are the same that came up as the most current for my vehicle.

Note: The calibration web site can be entered from the //service.gm.com web site, then select the "TIS" tab near the top of the screen.

pjcdiesel,

I do not think the web site shows the "actual" status of your truck, instead it lists the most current software versions available for your model. It determines the model based on the VIN number you enter. One of the pages shown had the title of "History". In my case, it was blank. I had my truck reflashed, but it was only a week ago. I will check back on the history page in a couple of weeks to see if anything shows up.

What year truck do you have? I do not think any of the 2004.5 LLY trucks had the new version of the software installed at the time of assembly. If yours is a 2004.5 and it has not been flashed, then it has the older version of the software. I do not know what GM's intentions are for the History page.

According to some notes I have seen posted here, 2005 models are starting to show up with the new version. If you have a 2005, I guess you will have to ask the dealer to find out what version you have using the Tech II.
