so im looking for a chrome differential cover for my 05 2500HD. i cant find one. ive been loking for last 2 hours.really i been looking for about a month. so it seems no one makes one. heres where im confused. ive seen some reinforced covers for $150.00. some websites say the Hd has a 14 bolt 11.5" .some say it has the 14 bolt 10.5". i thought the Hd had the 10.5 and the duallys had the 11.5.......if the vendors chime in here i will buy a cover.


1.so which axle is in there?
2.and does anyone know where i can get a chrome cover?
3.are there diffrent covers for different year model 10.5's and 11.5's?

I don't know who makes a chrome cover worth a darn. I like the PML aluminum cover or the MagHytech. I sell both. PML will sell a polished cover and might even have it chromed for you but it would be very pricey. Youcould just buy a new steel cover from GM and have it chromed but it would not hold any extra fluid like the aformentioned covers. I think the extra fluid in the diff makes a big difference in longevety. :)
