Well it looks like I might have my first little problem...

Looks like I have an oil leak in the rear main area....it might be coming from above also....have to do a little investigating, hopefully it doesn't become a dealer issue. Anyone have any ideas.????

They couldn't even do my last oil change right, My intention was never to have it serviced there, but I was there shooting the breeze with my salesman buddy and the service manager. I had all my Amsoil stuff and filters in my truck so the service manager said he would change it no problem.

I told the kid doing the oil change not to start it up with out the Amsoil filler cap back in position....he did that all correctly but after he checked the oil realized he had to add some more, he did and closed the hood.
He drove it back to the reception area where I was waiting and guess what....yepper, oil everywhere, he forgot to but the cap on....


But the oil leak that I have now is unrelated to that...it's been long since cleaned up.

i have a small leak at my rear transfer case seal 39 bucks for the part to replace they said it would take 3 days mike Lsaid it would take him 10 mins

Do alot of rear main seals on Duramaxs so more than likely that is what it is.:( So far no Bull or P.I on a update or revised seal

I'm not overly concerned as of yet, because it's really minor....just I've been noticing some wetness in that area as of late
