i had an idea while on the can today.....
not that im going to do it or ever will but say you were to make a jumper that went from the power door lock to the set button on the cruise, this would allow you to start the truck then hit the lock button twice to activate the high idle and you've got a warm truck in no time just leave the cruise set to on

Likely not a good idea. If someone were to press lock while going down the highway it would set the cruise as well.

What kind of remote start do you have? Most remote starts have an aux or trunk output and you could hook your high idle to that with a relay.

i dont have one i was just thinking, you bring up a good point..... back to the brainstorming
