I need to reset my TAPS to get my tranny to relearn to stock settings after removing me edge. My buddy has EFI live.... Can I use that to reset without using up a license? Thanks

I don't know for 100% but I'm going to say no. because it is on the screen where you program ECM from and it is just a box to check so if you don't have a license it won't let you past that point. That's just my opinion, may be wrong. Brett~

Like tech 2? LOL if I had one of those I know I'd be golden. I was thinking a programming sequence or batt disconnect or something.

you don't need a vin license to clear your taps. we did my tranny last week and didn't need one

Sweet! How did you do it? Just hook up, read the tune, then go in and hit clear taps? do you even need to read the tune?

Connect to truck, open the scan tool, open the Bidirectional controls, open Allison control panel, check desired Tap cells you want to clear and click on clear selected cells or click on preset all TAP cells. No license needed :)
