Recently attempted jumping my head lights and my DRL's together so they can all be on when my HI's are on, but... i couldnt find the HI's in the fusebox so i was hoping that some one can point it out to me... and funny thing when i hooked up my HeadLights and my DRL's together (with a diode connecting the 85 together) my truck will now stay running even when i turn the truck off and take the keys out of the ignition the truck will still run if i have the lights in the on position

so im stumped i have 4 diodes, im thinking of wiring them up right at the lamps and connecting all together with diodes.

so my truck will keep running even with the keys out of the ignition untill i turn my head lights off, but ima fix that

You trying to do the '03+ light mod to an '01? That may explain things a little.

Try this (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showpost.php?p=272064&postcount=49) idea

DO NOT DO THIS unless you want to see smoke. The 1N4XXX diodes typically used to jump the relays are rated at 1/4 watt. The terminal that gets jumped on the relay is only to trigger the relay, it is not the line out to the headlights which are 55W each IIRC.

Look at the posts on the second page. I'm pretty sure this works on an 06. You can ask Unit453 to be sure.
