As the subject says.

Need hard part recommendations as that is what is necessary. ARP head studs are in as 4" straight piped,Fass fuel system. Transmission only has a shift kit and was told a triple TC,not confirmed.

Will need transmission,Injectors,SINGLE turbo,etc,etc...recommendations.

So build it.

you can piece it together by yourself but as far as HP components go i would go with a hotrod vp44, large injectors, fuel system, and several "chips" stacked together to get that close.

Fix the KDP first
Gauges second (LPump, Turbo, Pyro,Trans Temp)
Injectors: DonM Mach 5's (6's are too big for a single charger to handle)
Studs: ARP
Lift Pump: FASS 150 or better, RASP,MITUSA
Exhaust: 4 or 5" single
Trans: Suncoast or DTT
Turbo: Industrial Injection Phat Shaft 66 13 SS (Twins are still my #1 Choice though for tow n go/Race)
Box: Edge Drag Comp (SMARTY optional)

Is KDP still a problem on a 24v vp equipped truck? I thought they moved passed that in those model of trucks?

Yes. There is even the odd 2001 truck that has been hit:mad: I only know of one that new with the problem though.

Hmmmmm KDP interesting. Has a new block as it was the dreaded 53 casting. I wonder if that was addressed, gotta find out.

Tanks for the info

53 blocks seem to be hit an miss for the cracking issue Mac.
There are a few out there with 500+ over 170,000 miles with no issues, and a few over 780 on spray.

The good news is that the 53 blocks are actually heavier than others from what i have been told. It's the luck of the draw on them i guess.:o:

Well it was a leaker and was replaced under warranty by Cummins. Just all associated parts and gaskets and any other needed parts no labor.

Good deal if you ask me. But the KDP is something that I'm aware of and I doubt it was addresses on the rebuild. Not sure if Cummins has addressed the issue as they have with the bad castings.

Gonna have to reserach it by calling them ,the Cummins authorized dealer who did the work recently either way I'm aware of the way to fix it Via the TDR.
