I commute on the freeway in stop and go traffic daily. Should I drive in T/H to get the T/C to lock up or drive in normal mode ? Does it even make a difference ?

Your torque converter won't lock up until second gear, so it probably won't make any difference. I almost always drive in t/h, but don't do a lot of stop and go. Your call. . . I don't think it makes a difference for stop and go. It will stay in first longer if you're in t/h, though, so if you are just at that breaking point where it trips into second and then back down to first repeatedly, maybe it would benefit you.

I continually shift in and out of tow/haul for engine (tranny) braking saves the brake pads and foot movement, also I like the sound.

good luck

I'm not sure I get it. . . You shift into T/H to slow down and then out of T/H for acceleration?

Thanks,
Dennis

It's easier for me to run in T/H because it shifts much less in stop and go driving.

Same here Pat, when I'm in stop-n-go or otherwise. I just like the way it drives and shifts better.
