I know the DIC is off when you program your truck but is it off by the same amount all the time or does it vary? Example If the DIC reads 20mpg and you are getting 15mpg hand calc. does this meant the DIC is always off by 5?
Thanks

i would say no i just did hand cal. on the last 2 tanks one was .8 over the dic the next tank was .3 under the dic.i think it changes every time you fill up:)

x2, mines never the same. I think a lot depends on the tune and driving style.

No the 5 rule is not in effect. When I run CL on the BullyDog DIC showes 24-26mpg. hand calc=17-18. Just depends on the program you are running
My dic showed 5% worse mileage than hand calc stock, with the predator on the 65hp setting it shows 5% better than hand calc

Your DIC will not be correct after a programmer install. You will get close if you have normal driving habits once you install and run a few tanks through it but I know that at minimum mine was off by 2-4mpg...

Mine has only been off at the most .5 I guess I got an accurate DIC, so I don't hand calc anymore unless there is a big change in mpg. 18.1 so far on this tank!.......or could that be 18.6 or 17.6?????????????

Like above post, mine is just as accurate (if not More so) as before the Evo. Have run level 1 & 2. Love the power and better fuel mileage.
