Help please..

P2066 code is basically set from a stuck or percieved stuck float arm on the sending unit in the fuel tank. I suspect that your fuel gauge is eratic or incorrect. I would clear it out for now and if it resets, have the dealer go into it and perform the diagnostics.

this truck has dual tanks..is the back tank refull the front one? or is both tanks going down together,,,

THIS TOTALLY SUCKS.. i HAVE YET PUT 300 MILE ON A TANK..IT WILL NOT RUN OFF THE FRONT TANK FOR 300 MILS. BACK TANK STILL STAYS FULL. BE WORK N FOR THE LAST 6 MONDAYS AND 3 WED.. STILL NOT WORLING THIS IS GETTING REAL OLD..:ro)

This seems to be a common problem. One of my customers has 3 trucks all doing that same thing. Only runs off the front tank, back tank stays full. GM says some comp board needs upgraded and new ones are to be out soon. He uses these trucks for delivery and can't run just the distance the front tanks supply.
So i fixed all of them for him. Removed all the tanks, installed bulkhead NPT fittings (1/2") about 2 inches up from teh bottom of the tanks and ran a 1/2 transfer line between the tanks. No more problem. His fuel guages still do not work right, but that is because of the fuel guage driver board, that we have been waiting on for 6 months. His newest truck the guage quit with under 600 miles on it.

If I remember there was a reprogram for 02-03 with dual tanks.

well it's been back to the shop 3 more time. still have the samething .No rear tank and no fuel gauge.. Total B/S..
