How hard is it to change when you are doing a Transgo kit... and a guess a good question would be whats it look like?

You have to remove the entire tranny and split the case anyway...........so it's installed at the same time the anti-drain back valve goes in.........

Maybe 30 minutes more of your time...........

Definately worth it............

Actually it goes beyond the standard Transgo Kit install as you have to get into the pump housing. The Transgo is C2 return springs and Trim Solenoid valves is the meat of it. Easy but you go in deeper, just more parts. The only "watch" is you don't change the pump gear mesh as a noisy pump maybe the end result.

Wooo ha haaaaaa !

In reality, the Transgo valve was made for pure race only. Under 500hp I see no need for it, neither does Transgo. Changing the pump gear mesh means nothing. I have a lot of hard working Allys out there winning all kinds of stuff with miss aligned pump gears. Nick is one of them, then we have Doug, Guy, John, Macrat and a whole lot more. In all the GM applications that I have seen concerning the pump gears; the marks line up every 16 revolutions.

If you install the FULL trans-go kit, meaning the drainback springs too.. Your right there. Takes you another 2 minutes tops.

Mike, you mean the dots go facing the same direction? Crap!
