I'm at work and the "web sense filter" says it's forbidden, charcterized as chat. Is there a place I can order one or anything?

That is pretty interesting reading but I am thinking of a simpler solution. I am thinking that it might be possible to take a filter apart and remove the part that mounts to the head (insert correct word here) as a base for an adapter and use that same part from the filter brand of choice to be the base for the new type of fuel filter. This would eliminate the need to remove the check-valve and would probably be easier than creating an adapter from scratch but would require some form of welding and shop work. Can someone tell me whats the material used in the part of the filter that mounts to the head? I haven't changed my first filter so I have not given it a good look yet.
