Ok I just picked up a used juice with a DOM 4-17-03 ver 4.61. For whatever reason it won't work with my 03 model. I get a crank sensor error(according to my Predator).

Anyhow I've sent an e-mail to Edge asking what I can do to get this module to work with my model, but I figure I'd ask anyone if they knew if it's just a pin or two I need to move around or is it a programming change that needs to be done by the manufacturer?

Had the same problem with the "so-called" 4.81 version......................needs to get reprogrammed from EDGE.

Just send it back and call Aaron, he will take care of you...

oh well guess I've waited almost 2 years to buy the juice a few more days won't make that much difference. Now, if I could only get Diablosport to answer the phone for me so I can get my 1.08 updated to the latest.

Carbon04, could you elaborate? Is this related to the no-start issue?

Rick,

Sounds like maybe that's why you got it? IIRC you shouldn't have any problems with that version, but call Edge and make arrangements to ship it back. They'll check it out and upgrade it. Not sure if that's a no charge deal or not, but it's not very expensive if you have to pay for it.

GMC2500HD is right, Aaron is da man...:ro)

Actually I forgot about this thread. As for where I got it, was from a local guy that seems to be pretty straight up so I doubt it was a known bad juice. He even pulled a contact with a local vendor called Huckstorf Diesel to get me a replacement quick. Not only did Mark exchange for me, I also got the 4.81 attitude ready should I ever choose to go that route.

On the upside, Edge responded immediately to my request with info to send it back and they'd fix whatever was wrong since it fell within the warranty period. Mark at Huckstorf got the swapout ok'd by Edge for me and traded me one off his shelf.

BTW, Just thought I would mention that the straps are a fine addition, enjoy the security they offer. Noticed in your testimonials that you had another customer that the USPS messed up on. Odd.

One quick thought you might want to check into...

I think the latest LB7 release with the fix for the no start issue is ver 4.81i...

I could be mistaken since I've not followed it that closely, but I do think that latest release has the "i" behind the 4.81...
