Group got one for ya!!


Truck runs great but in any condition every once in a while the yellow service engine light comes on for no reason. Transmition is fine, engine is fine, everything runs just fine. Light stays on for 30 seconds or so then goes off. Happens whenever it feels like it absolutly no consistency. Any speed, and temperature etc. Load no- load it makes no differance. HELP :)

Does it have any codes stored?


Does it have an EGR system? If so, is the vacuum pump working?

You may be onto something with the vacuum pump, lately I have a rather strange noise coming out of that unit. Im going to get it replaced and see if this fixes the issue... Thanks for the help
