I know the Max Energy is the newer model and it is rated up to 113 hp vs the older one is about 90ish hp. Anybody else have any comments or opinions on one over the other? Is the Max Energy still a safe bet to drive around and tow on level 3? Thanks.

Nothing has changed, maybe just a different Dyno reading. It is the same tuning as the PP III, just in a smaller package that is internet updateable. I called and talked to Hypertech about it 3 or 4 weeks ago and that was the response I got from them.

OK this my opinion on the max energy .Going from a stock truck levl 1 sucked! levl 2 sucked! levl3 works pretty good its not the fastest tune i have rode in but its reliable no code yet.The big thing i notice is the power curve is alot better! This where i think the mileage claim are from so im going to drive nice for a week and see if pick up some mpg . If this programer bumps my mpg in town i will be happy.
