(All runs were made on lvl 2 (90hp))
Headed up to the track Saturday to be the only registered diesel there. 1st run i made was a 15.475 @ 84.88. After I came back, the announcer came up to me and said "You impressed the sh!t out of me when you made that first pass with a 15! How much this thing weigh?" I told him bout 8000 pounds. He says "Very impressive!" Second run was a 14.973 @ 89.28, just before I go up to the tree, I hear the announcer say "Here's Sal out of Las Cruces, New Mexico with an '07 Chevrolet Silverado Duramax Diesel, this thing weighs 8000 pounds folks!!" I smile, head to the tree, and make the 14.9. Best run i had was a 14.620 @ 88.78, as i head for the ticket booth, the ticket lady hands me the time slip and says "Your truck is very impressive!" After my last run another racer comes up to me and says "Thats pretty quick for a truck." Just smile and say "Thanks!" In all it was great! Lookin to head back up there in October.

Pretty surprised that no one knew these trucks could run those times. Guess I opened their eyes.

May I ask you what the times in your description mean?

Best time: 14.6 (14.1 corrected)

Just curious how someone comes up with that?? Not trying to rain on your shine or anything, just wanna know how one could come up with a "correction" number?
Thanks, Joshua

I've run as quick as 13.6, but when IdahoRob's there running low 12s it doesn't seem to draw much attention.

the 12.93 was at RMR in SLC with a cummins... i think most people were interested in all the smoke i laid out lol

Soon everyone will ask if you run propane. Every truck that is quick has to. It's all they install on those performance shows.

Good job on the runs!!!

congrats on the #'s..now do a tranny along with a lift pump and turn that PPE loose and see some real low 13's and when you got enough fuel stack the PPE Duramaximizer on top and see high 12's...

nice runs! :ro)

throw a transgo Jr. in there and that LBZ should be good for high 13's :D

I always love surprising everyone. My buddies and I always race at a track up in canada and the 12 second runs always gets them all excited. When I come back from the return road they all run up and start asking me all these questions in french. :confuzeld:
