does anyone have wind noise coming from the weather striping on the doors if so how do you fix it? do i need new weather striping it dont seem dryed out? or do the doors need to be ajusted? its an extended cab. its driving me crazy

I'v had 5 x-cab GMs and they all did it a little bit. My 02 was really bad. Drove me nuts, especially on long highway trips. I added a piece of extra weather striping at the top of the back doors and it helped a little bit but not much. I think the only thing thats going to fix it is all new weather striping and maybe some adjustments to the doors.

Do you have a bug shield on your truck , sometimes they will cause noise.

no bug shield i talked to a body shop guy and he said the weather striping is getting worn. he also said it can be added to the back side so i would not have to replace it.
