Went to belle tire today, to have them roll out some tires to see how they would fill up my wheel wells. I have stock 94 3/4 HD 8lug 6" rims with 245/70/16's wo he pulls out some 265's,, and said these would do,, when I as to go i hight lik 285's,,, he said "oh thats a diesel?, then you would have to have the valvebody reprogramed or you shift points will be all screwed up" Ok I thought with more tire height,,, that would tame out my 4:10 gears,,, Can anyone "Splain this to me"

It would throw the speedo off, but that's about it that I can think of. How many people do you hear about reproggramming there valve body when they lift there truck? But you do hear about them making changes for the speedo.
