Anybody use the Edge this way?

After the injector replace next week I am installing the 4" SST exhaust, AFE Stage 2 intake and Edge. For the first 100K miles I kept the drive train 100% stock as I never felt the need for the extra power but now on the 2nd leg I want to have some fun. I still do not need the extra power towing as this has always suited my needs, but adding a bit conservatively will be kind of fun. I figured setting the Edge at 3 Daily driving then pulling power out towing would be a safe way to play.

I use the Edge on level 3 every day for driving. Still haven't towed with it, but when I do it will be on level 1 until I get the Allison upgraded. Then it's game on, but I have to get half-way across the country uneventfully in March. After that, all bets are off, level 5, SCIII here we come. . . ):h

Duramax Dually-I use that exact same setting. 3 everyday, 2 for towing. seems to work great. level 3 to me seems to have the best driveability. the juice does really make a difference. I've never had a problem with egt's or limp mode using these settings. install and enjoy.

my truck is our only vehicle, so gets used daily for everything. I just leave the attitude on level 2 and forget it, towing or running mt.

I've been able to use level 3 for both towing and daily driving. It's worked great. I haven't hooked up to anything really heavy though, or I would probably drop to level 2. But if you are watching the EGTs and tranny slip with the Attitude, I don't see why towing in level 3 is a problem.

Edge doesn't recommend towing in anything but level 1 or 2 according to the manual. . . Unless you upgrade your tranny. . .

I tow level 4 day to day. I would run it in 5 but too there is too much smoke when you don't expect it.
