My husband's Dodge (and I've heard this about Ford SD trucks too) has to have pads, calipers and sometimes rotors replaced about every 50k miles. 403turbo 11-21-2004, 10:17 AM I had to do rear brakes around 83K, fronts had new pads around 40K and still have more than half the life left. Jim GMC2500HD 11-21-2004, 10:51 PM It will all depend on how hard you are on the brakes and what you do with them, such as hard stops, pulling etc. Some will get like Dmax said over 200K while I have seen some have to be done at 35K...
