OK, I'm about to purchase my first diesel truck and am torn between Dodge and GM. What made you switch? Any recommendations? I ultimately plan to pull a fiver across the country. I've been leaning toward the Duramax, but you must know something I don't. :)

His opinion Should not Sway you Away Just because he wanted something different:cool: . {Opinions are like Ass hole's Everybody has one} There are alot of people that have been to the Dark Side and Came back also. Think about that. They all have service centers and are built by People:D

Alot of us have gained some pretty strong friendships stemming from this place.

I think folks think that they are going to get stoned or burned at the stake for jumping brands. This forum has anything but that from what i have seen.

Well I wanted a 6 speed manual and 8ft long bed, and I liked the way dodges look. So I looked for the truck I wanted and found it. It was alittle diffecult crunching the numbers with the dealer but eventually I was somewhat satisfied. I only had the truck for two days and I love it. I was driving in the rain and it has so much HP and Torque I was alittle nervous I was gonna wreck it so I babied it. I just love the whole truck and I hope it doesnt let me down. Now for the new D max's I heard they been blowing head gaskets and the new fords suck alll around, lots of recalls. It comes down to what you like and want. Remember this " They Will All Break The Same" So theres no best out there yet!
