Any idea roughly on the amount of coolant I will lose by draining the radiator? Plan is to just drain the radiator and refill with new dexcool.

I'm at 35k and I figure if I do that every 33k or so I'll be good and wont have to worry about it getting depleted.(about 3 times changing 1/2? or so of the coolant within its supposed 100k life time)

how would you go about draining all of it, or is it not worth it just drop as much as you can the easiest then do the same later?

Going by experience with other motors.....Impossible to drain all of it unless you put it on its lid maybe, even if you were to pop out a plug I dont believe its low enough to get it all out. You can flush the old out or dump in new and drain a couple times......

Also going by my gasser experience, I'm just going to pop the petcock and drian it off. It has one IIRC, other wise its yank the botom hose. Dump one gallon of pink stuff in the radiator, then dump 1 gallon of distilled water in there. then dump 1/2 gallon of pink stuff into the empty 1 gallon container of pink stuff and fill that with distiled water to make a 50/50 mix and top her off. Then I should have 1.5 gallons of premix, might run my truck for a few and drain off a bit more and finish off the 1.5 so I dont have to store it. Thats the game plan anywho.....

Thanks Eric:)
