I can get either one of these for a really good price and was wondering what you guys think would be the best. I pull a enclosed trailer that weighs around 5000 to 6000 lbs. around twice month. I'm not really in it for the power to race just want it to help out on fuel mileage, a little more power for towing and the safety features. I have already done mods to the air box and changed out the exhaust and added some gauges. What is some of your opinions and are any of you running either of these programmers? I've heard alot of pros n cons on both of them. Help me out!!

I would try the Bully Dog. I just installed the hypertech on my bone stock '07.5 (LMM) with 475 miles for basically the same reasons you state. Honestly, unless I excelerate hard it doesn't feel any different than stock. Allthough I would rather be on the safe side, I'm not sure it made as much difference as they claim.

I used an Edge Juice setup with no improvement in mileage. Now I'm using a Hypertech on setting 3. It seems to help some. I've just read that the Predator set at 65 will increase the mileage. So I may sell my Hypertech and get one of those. Just moving around and seeing which one does the best for me also.

Kipsterk:
Both the Hypertech and Bullydog are good tuners. The Hypertech was designed for towing on all 3 levels, and keeps the EGT's lower than some others. The Hypertech is a safe tuner, and you should not have to worry about doing any damage to the Allison. I think you will gain more MPG's from the Hypertech than the Bullydog. JMHO!
