It's been awhile since this has been discussed, so I thought I would bring it up one last time. Besides the TTS and Predator programmers, has anything come out that deletes just the speed limiter on the 2001's? I've got the 6-Gun with speedloader already and don't need another programmer, as I think the tranny is being pushed hard already with the Gun set to L5 or L6. I still can't believe a company hasn't produced something for this issue, as the 2002's and newer can be bypassed with almost all of the programmers available. Anyone?http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley22.gif

I think Max Power has a do it yourself fix. You should shoot him a PM or do a search.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif Edited by: sshaffer

If I got rid of the limiter on my truck, I would gain maybe 5 or 10 mph before I hit redline. Why?

I have the stock tires also, but if you were to get bigger tires to be
able to hit 120 (why?) would they be rated for that speed?

I dont think these things were meant to do over 100 anyway.

Most want to blast the limiter for drag racing. I think MTomac goes over 110 on a quarter mile pass. Thats about 10-15 over the limiter.

It's a little discouraging when your truck is pulling like a freight train and then you run into the 97mph wall. I believe it runs about 112mph with the factory rev limiter in place.
