My svcs manager at the dealership mentioned that there were other colored keys besides just the green keys (white, red, etc.)& wanted to know if I knew what they were or what they did. I told him I did not have a clue, but I knew a place that could help!

I know that the green keys give additional lift, but I have done some web searches cannot find any info on the other colors. Anyone know, or have any links that might help??

Since I always have a winch, double batteries, and lots of steel in a bumper, and occasionally find myself airborne, the first mod that I make to a new truck is to upgrade the torsion bars (to yellow, I think). They do not raise the front end unlsess you are suffering from too-much-weight-droop. They just take more weight/force to twist the same amount as the stock. As I recall, I got the correct ones via a helpful person at the parts counter. The ones that I use are always the ones that are stock on the same size PU with the snow plow option.Edited by: freddyo
