I was going through a few threads and noticed that sombody mentioned the timing is adjusted on the Juce in stock level. Is this true ?

Yes

It's not 100% clear on what edge does on level 0 on the LLY. Rumour has it that edge has no timing on their LLY box. Aaron from edge has told me that they DO in fact have timing on their LLY box although they do it differently then most. Of course they won't elaborate any more then that. So at this point it is really anyones guess. Edited by: Max Power

Has anyone that dynoed seen the HP difference in stock vs level 0?

There is about a 25 HP difference on the LB7 engine with an Attitude/Juice combo (Level 0 vs no Juice). I have measured that on my truck. At lower RPM (1800), there was not much of a difference. The higher in RPM, the more the two HP curves diverged. So on the LB7 at least, level 0 is not stock. Timing only, no fueling changes. Edited by: OC_DMAX

ok, that leads me to the next ? regarding the LLY on level 0 ?? what if anything will it do ? anyone know, thanks

on edit - talked to justin at edge who said that there is no increase on level 0, i specifically asked it there was timing - NO, any fuel change - NO. I guess until someone puts it on the rollers we wont get confirmation of that ?Edited by: tbone1227

Is level 0 the same as defeat mode when warming up? I ask this because that defeat mode has created issues for a lot of people, noise, smoke etc. I can't wait for 180 degrees, it is a struggle to listen to before that.

Master - im in the same boat as well, especially in this winter cold. it sucks, sometimes i barely get to 180 on my way to work http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley7.gif . im going to try out the predator today and i would assume there is no wait period as its directly programmed to the pcm. in the warmer months, the edge with pup is great as you dont get that noise as it warms up so quickly but the winter just sucks for this http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley7.gif http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley11.gif

So the LLY gets a true stock tune, but us LB7 guys don't. Why the difference I wonder? For this reason alone I will most likely yank my Attitude for good so I can run my bigger tune(s).

well, were not quite sure it is 100% stock on level 0, just what weve been told - until someone gets it on a dyno we wont know for sure

There's definitely not a gain. Actually, the opposite may be true. Levels 1-5 run strong though...

Thanks JK, glad to get some feedback on that

I'm with you guys about the colder months! What is the temperature that the J/A starts working? I can never tell since the dash gauge and the attitude aren't even close to being the same...

It seems to be 180. If anyone has a way to change that, speak up.

yes, please speak up. even with the cover on the front it takes too long for things to start working!

e/a level 3, we are pushing 0 degrees in idaho. from 175 to 185, engine bucks and snort, trying to figure out what level to run in. dial in 0 and it smooths out. after many miles seems to act normal in level 3. would power pup stacked put out the power with cold engine or does it have the 180 mark also. i know not to work a cold engine but coasting through town lowers engine temp to 170-s from 180s. wish edge had lowered the engine temp perameters. nelson o5 chev.

jetboatjockey, are you using a winter front cover? Seems like you might benefit from it. . .

The older versions of attitudes will give some real bucking problems.

No way, my truck knocks like a bit** warm or cold in all juice levels, disconnect juice and it is gone!
