UAWDIESEL,

DexCool is fine for your your DMAX. No need to switch.. See the following thread for coolant flush info...

I have a question for the group,

Is there any additional coolant additives necessary to keep the cylinder walls from eating their way through. In my old 93 Ford diesel there was an advisory that came out to add some stuff (I don't remember what it was) to keep bubbles from forming on the cylender walls and eating a hole. Does GM recommend anything for this as well?

THX,

Brad

No additional coolant additives are necessary with the DMAX.
