I have developed a new problem with my Duramax, it seems since the last trip into the dealer that it has developed a new problem. The turbo lag seems longer than before and the truck also seems to run a little ragged if I acclerate hard. It lags, then takes off like a rocket at about 2600 rpm. It pulls hard from 2500 up to the mid 3500 range then shifts quickly through the gears.


When I first bought the truck, before the turbo sensor failed it seemed to lag less and pull more smoothly and evenly. Now it almost feels like it is missing slightly at full accleration. And the lag seems more pronounced. If I take off smoothly and not too hard all seems fine and even. All of this only happens if I really take off hard from a slow speed.


Is this normal? This is my first diesel.
