With all my new found power got a little energy and went and straight pipe the truck. I cut the cat and muffler both off. Sounds great, better than my 04 LB7 ever did. As I was sitting at the stop light last night my check engine light came on. So now what do I do, still have all kinds of power, sound is awesome, but engine light is on?</TD></TR>

Go find a parts store with a scanner and see what code you got. Probably insufficient egr flow. Lots of people have gotten that code but not the light with fed emissions. CA guys get the light too. There are some pages discussing that if you look.
