with their install kit

Looks like a nice setup with a reasonable price. Appreciate any comments on quality and ease (or lack thereof) of installation.
Thanks!

I looked at the Northern Box and every other box out there, but couldn't find what I wanted. I wanted approx 100 gal with a 10" deep toolbox on top that was no more than 24" wide with a fill neck usuable with my canopy filler. Not made. BUT, I found KSH Fuel Products of Lake Havasu AZ (928-680-6610) who builds specialty aluminum tanks for racing boats and they built me one exactly to my specs for $1100, including the entire hookup kit for a D/A including factory guage hookup. Tank is DOT certified! Heck of a great price when you look at Transferflo, Aero & American (all wanted about $2200 for a like custom tank). Quality is excellent in Diamond plate and no box tank combo built gives you a 10" deep tool box. Very happy with it. Call Brian - they can build anything to your specs and are very reasonable.

The Northern Tool auxillary tanks are made for them by RDS Aluminum in Florida. The RDS website is www.rdsaluminum.com (http://www.rdsaluminum.com) and I spoke with Ray Veal regarding their product. RDS's price was $35 higher than the catalog price but I spent at least that much money on time with questions on the tank and install and their 6 way switch. PLUS if there was a problem with the product I deal directly with the manufacturer and not have to deal with going through Northern. It was well worth the extra $35! Also the shipping was cheaper--guess Northern did not get their cut of that either. They will custom build tanks also, ask them!! I installed my tank just like Idle_Chatter did. You can see his pictures if you do a search under his member name.
I am extremely happy with the product and all the help from RDS and Idle_Chatter.

I purchased and installed a 60 gal. fuel tank/tool box combo from Northern Hydraulic, a few months ago. Good quality product. I installed it myself useing an electric lift pump and pumping through a Big Cat filter into the fuel tank necks with a hose barb
I never put filling station fuel directly into the truck tank. All of the fuel goes into the auxilary tank then is filtered with the Cat filter before going into the truck tank. So the OEM filter doesn't have much work to do.
