Took the truck to the shop to find out what the steering sysstem noise was. Mechanic test drove my rig and said the syeering shaft was faulty, they are on back order and put me on the list. While I was there the service manager suggested a LOF job and also they had a BG LOF job. I said no thank you, I do my own. Later on It came to mind I don't know what a GB LOF job is. The first is $ 59.95 and the second $ 79.95. Anyone on here know what the GB stands for? Edited by: Bill Gisse

Maybe for BG products?

BG makes a line of 'back flush' systems, similar to what happens when
you get your tranny fluid flushed. It's supposed to clean out your oil
passages and remove a lot of the built up crud and sludge, but I don't
have enough experience with the equipment to say whether it actually
does much.

Its a klunking sound and is only present when parking or on very low speed turns.
